SlyCy...
...Dylan is right. Over 500,000 signatures made it onto that petition, and it was delivered to the White House. There are also Congressional discussions underway in light of the infamous Downing Street memo.

Browse back through some of my posts here from a couple of weeks back - they start to reveal the process towards impeachment that is now underway.

Hang on in there, mate!

SlyCy,
don't give into cynicism and despair! There is at least one petition for Mr. Bush's impeachment. And plenty of people care a lot -- just not enough people. Now is the time to increase the pressure, not give up. At the very least we must make this administration's life as difficult as possible.

Damon, the answer to your last question is a heaping amount. If average
people cared about who is president, this bozo would not even be in office, but they don't  and nobody is calling for dubya's impeachment.  Nobody will ever call for dubya's impeachment.  That is the main reason I have just about stopped writing about him. Nobody cares.

Damon
Thanx for posting this. I was reading about it this morning in our Globe and Mail from Toronto but couldn't really understand it. Great post

As Impeachment...
...looms closer for Bush and his cronies, Rove is now facing potential prosecution over the Plame affair.

At the same time, Bush's approval ratings go negative and, for the first time, more respondents rated him negatively than positively on “being honest and straightforward”.

Of course, this could all be liberal spin and nonsense, or political stuff coming from the Democrats.

But you've got to wonder - how much more shit can Bush heap upon his own head before people finally get it?
