I really enjoy this blog
I have it on my favs and although I don't comment  much I always read because it is so interesting....I have lost a blog of yours - that I did read a lot...could you tell me which one is was please?...as I want to save that to my favs as well...thank you

Joe,
I believe I sold it for $10.00 and it was approx. 650 words.  'Course I haven't been paid for it yet.   The funny thing is about a month ago, I emailed the editor and asked how it was that I had sent them the contract and the article and hadn't been paid. She apologized, promised to send me the check and said she hadn't received the contract, but they had printed the article because she then gave me the link as well.

Yes, I tend to think and observe a lot more than I used to.
Now I reflect on almost everything with a view to writing it down.

very interesting... now that you write again, as an adult, do you find that you live your life differently? veiw it differently????

My experience was very different.
I never missed it in anyway. I think I remembered fleetingly from time to time that I used to write as a kid.

me too...
once i began writing again felt like i had gone such a large span of life without breathing...

I am a graduate of the institute of childrens literature...they filled my brain full of all of the essential elements...I also have some books opn the subject...I should probably get them out and re-read them, huh? Yes, the time is right...for some serious writing !!! ((I know my time is NOW ))

i stopped writing for a period of 7 years and at the end of it i was a completely different type of writer...... its interesting coming back...... sort of like a completion of a life course...
