I had one...a four in one deal...I never used the fax really, but the others aspects of that machine are truely missed !!!

As a freelancer, some sort of faxing capability is kind of a must. I have one in my office, but I also have software on my computer. The faxing software now a days is pretty cheap and works well. If you want to work for yourself, you're going to have to do it eventually. Try the software, it takes up less space....good luck!

but no, i don't have one...... i don't really want one either...... i figure with two cells, a landline, 3 emails, 2 mailing addresses and the fact that i already go in a million different directions.... thats enough.

I have a fax machine in my printer, but dang, if I know how to operate it. Those bastard editors. Ha!. I used to work for one from home in another state. And he wanted me to put the darn post in an attachment to his e-mail. Well, computer-illiterate that I am, I would have preferred driving all the way to see him to drop it off. My bro has a separate fax machine. But my boss wouldn't take a fax, so fax him.hahaha If you're a writer, you always get screwed by the technology or the ed.
