Comment from Pewee to RavenDarke's "Sultry, Faustian Faith"

Raven:  Your soul is your entire consciousness - a non-malleable, radiant substance.  The soul, metaphysically, is comprised of three parts:  Spirit (Part of God, yet the potential of the allness of God), Soul is the entire mind, thoughts (conscious mind - where decisions, judgements, etc... are made) and the subconscious mind where the feeling nature, which complements the thoughts are generated.  It is also the permanent tape recorder of the thinking nature.

What you are feeling about selling a slice of your soul is probably your subconscious mind telling you that you are better than what you did.  How to handle that is to forgive yourself for whatever acts you did, and move forward.  Deny that it has any power over you, and affirm that you are whole, complete and a child of God until the emotions that you have about unfortunate incidents go away.  You must handle them, or they will bury themselves deep within and show up at the most inopportune time(s).

Selling your soul
Hrmmmmmmmmmm....

I don't know about selling your soul being as common as sharing your soul. Whenever you write from the heart, you share a slice of your soul with readers. Whenever you engage in a relationship witih someone, emotional or physical, you share a slice of your soul.

Selling your soul...I guess I just don't think in those terms a whole lot. If you sell your soul, then you lose a piece of it. You have committed an action, or made a decision, that you can't take back, and it irreversibly changes your future in some way. There are a few situations where I would sell my soul, but fortunately they have not occurred. We'll see how my luck holds out.

Not really sure what I did, but
Thanks. Very nice piece, by the way. I'm flattered.
