Vibrance, these people have a different agenda to the rest of us. They don't require us to understand...

kingmi - I only wish my father could tell all his stories while he is still alive. I'm afraid so much will die with him.

Moondawg, its a shame you won't consider entering politics as you would probably do a lot of good.

Just - thank you for your comment. I think the vast majority of people rebel against the thought of being dictated to, especially by terrorists.

Dear ca88andra, I've just finished reading your last five posts...every one
so wonderfully written; I so enjoy reading what you write. Well, darlin, you really can't ever go home again. If we are growing and moving forward as we should, the past begins to shrink and move backwards into the mist of memory as it should. The past is not not always a nice place to visit, but as long as we learn from it, and take forward with us the positive things we learned there, we become wiser and stronger for it. It sounds to me like you are becoming wiser, and stronger...

I wish our Briish neighbors could read your heartfelt post. They are in my thoughts as well as my prayers, also.

Take care, Godspeed, come home safely...

Ca88i, Very sweet about your visit to your mother. I think your time was
well-spent there.  And your father mustn't die with all his stories,.  You were there, and you listened as he retold them. You will carry on.

The British
have been under the threat of terrorism for the last twenty some years, between the IRA and other groups, but have stood in the face of these threats with their stiffer up lip, to coin one of their own pharases. Cassandra with my deep loathing of the politicians, there is no way that I would become one.

Ca88andra thank you so much for your post. Many on here are doing just
what you and the Londoners did and have always done, speak their minds. We too are beginning to stand up with the truth against the terrorist of Islam all around the world. It was not retaliation. They have killed so many in many places all over the world. Brits have always been tough. God bless them, and you.
