I feel for you
but I don't think that it is anything that you have done or not done. Some people are just content remaining single. This may be a sign for you to move on. You deserve to be happy, and its obvious that you are anything but that. Good luck to you.

That sums up the arguement I just had with my boyfriend. We haven't been together as long as you and your boyfriend, but mine has been talking about future plans (like five or ten years down the road) and they didn't include kids or anything resembling a stable family...just career and a fun ever-loving girlfriend (and God, I hope he was imagining me).
Only I don't wanna be the gf forever...
So we talked about it, and things are better...and maybe we aren't as perfect of a couple as we thought...and we haven't completely decided yet, only we decided to love and let things happen and we'll decide when we get there. I know you didn't ask for advice, but if it bugs you, you should talk to him abut it and seriously consider moving on...because a family is a HUGE thing to give up in life.
