Flight path, I ate British yogurt in Britain. Word Smith. While there are very good British foods, you must admit that you aren't famous for good cooking. I encountered many pubs who served food that was burnt, or poorly prepared. As for junk food, Brits seemed to have a lot of it. But milk, potatoes, cheese, tomatoes, green beans, lamb and eggs were better tasting than here. I didn't care for the taste of British beef.

American Food? FOOD? Americans don't eat food...
Sorry to say. British have yoghurt. The real stuff. They have hummus. The real stuff. The rest of the world does, too.
Americans? They eat sugar, wheat, MacDonalds chemistry set, and some other unmentionables... :)
