I would love for you to come dance with me!!! Have you heard his latest cd...Magic Time?  He has this wonderful cut on there you would love, "Celtic New Year"...well, you would love the whole thing.  I also dug out this old cd tonight that you would find unbeliveable, John David Souther...he wrote everything on it...1973...he was a favorite of mine...did a lot of producing and writing for Glenn Frey and Linda Ronstadt...she recorded a lot of his stuff...one of her early lovers....anyway, this cd is titled Black Rose and some of the tracks I would point you to are "Faithless Love", "Silver Blue" and "Simple Man, Simple Dream" - you may be familiar with some.

Glad you hung in there! It's pretty much the way I am when I don't control myself!! I do have another post up that is depressing as hell but that touches on my experience with darkeness, which I know you have had more than your share of...we would definitely get along in this life.  Thanks for visiting.

Well, OK....as long as I haven't had too much to drink...those things are high...3-4" depending on the pair and it gets kinda wobbly after too much tequila....and I'm choosin' anything that's playin' when I can get you out there, sweet thang! Now, are we gonna let Passion come...can you catch us both if we start fallin'?!!

That's the coolest thing I've read in weeks!
We want pictures! I want to see you in CFMHs!

Come to think of it, I want to dance with you in CFMHs -- and nothing else. You name the band.

OMG! You will not believe this - I just went to Amazon and put both their CD's on my wish list - and you know Amazon has this feature of if you like them then you will like.....guess who was down there with this group: Anna Nalick (who I have listed that I just bought on this outing), Rob Thomas (who is my very favorite cd prior to this outing-the Matchbox 20 lead, incredible cd if you don't have), and Van's new cd (which I have listed that I just bought on this outing)....now how wild is that!!!!! So I am definitely buying both of their cd's...I would have anyway on the recommendation from you and Strat....but I already love 3 of the connected cd's!!!!! I'm tellin' you we would have had a good time in there dancin'!!!!!

Dancing in B & N
I spend hours in Barnes and Noble when I go, too. Can't say I've ever danced with somebody at the headphones stand. I would have loved to have seen that. LOL

I knew you watched Bob!! Wasn't he great! I don't see reruns of him now, did for a long time and I'm sure he's around somewhere. Thanks for visitin'.

For the time and money
that I've spent in Barnes and Nobels, I'm supporting at least one of their employees. Like those sponser a child things. I get my music at Hastings because they have used CDs. You can see the new CD for $15 and if your lucky right there with it might be a used one for $6. It was always a happy little tree or bush. Bob was as good at painting pictures with his words as he was with a brush.

I am so glad you visited because I just got through reading the first page of your Journal blog and I just loved it..I will go back and leave some comments when I have restored some energy..I just wrote a very long post...actually, very similar in nature to your latest one, old pain...and haven't slept all night and now, after reading all those posts of yours and some from some other folks, my eyes are finally burning enough that I may be able to sleep (?).  Anyway....can you even believe the sheer volume of cd's Van has out!!!!!! He is quite unlike anyone else to just sit and listen to.  Again, thanks for listening....oops, that was really accidental...reading!

Yes, it's Barnes & Noble...sorry, shows you what a small world I live in!!! I should remember that the world is bigger than the computer screen I'm typing on.  I love to spend time there.....and, obviously, money!  I shop online there as well.  I do have one of their cards which costs an annual fee but saves 10% even in the coffee shop so that helps. When I am in Texas I don't go as much but stop along the drive down in Oklahoma City, and then go into Austin or San Antonio at least a couple of times each stay.  I love the fact that you are welcome to grab books and magazines and sit down in comfy chairs and read...that was genius marketing. And, that you can listen to any cd you want to...and have a man come up and ask you to dance - now that was a first!! When I still worked, my office was just up the street and I often had lunch there, escaping for a complete change of ambience and....well, to escape!!  Glad you enjoy travelin' with me...some men couldn't keep up and you know I enjoy your company!

I love Van Morrison
I'm slowly getting a collection of his cd's... I'm glad to come across a mention of his music. Keep dancing.

Whew, these high-voltage posts of yours are great.  I swear I get windburn by the time I'm at the end.  What's a B&N -- is that Barnes & Noble?  If so, then I'm going to head right over to Chapters, which is our equivalent of B&N, the big-box type bookstore, right?  Coffeeshops and quartets, etc?  Didn't know you could have so much fun in a place like that.  Good for you
