Hi Dr. Bob

You commented on one of my blogs recently, and I thought you sort of popped on and off sporadically so I didn't say anything. Then I stumbled on this.

I had to tell you...I think your comment was in my family blog (now moved to lists) on volunteerism.  (I've been a lifelong journalist.)  My husband, now in computers is an ex paramedic and has radios everywhere in our home...a whole room for them, seriously. He's tied up with emergency services regarding radios.

I had to write because when I saw your comment to my blog, it hit me pretty funny in a way you couldn't know.  I am in a professional writing group.  There is  a Bob from Utah and a Dr. Bob from New Zealand.  Bob from Utah is a total know-it-all pain.  He is also a ham radio operator, while Dr. Bob is a sweetheart. I keep kidding my husband that I'm giving Utah Bob his call sign.  I actually make sure to call the one Bob "Dr. Bob" to differentiate him from the mean Bob.  I thought my husband was playing a trick on me when you posted!

He's NVLBJ, btw.  If you  hear him, make sure you tell him you're Dr. Bob.  ...you can add that you're not the mean Bob!
