Fuckin' A. Indeed, the whole world is a china shop. Ever had the urge to just run around with a baseball bat?

I'd be more upset that person considered me a child who couldn't handle what other people say or think.

Amen, Hacker, Amen.
It's like the whole f*ckin' world is made of glass.

Unidentified Hacker,
More in that same vein: is it more or less offensive to not talk to someone about a potentially sensitive subject, to be real with them and show them that you care?

Hahaha, blowing raspberries is fun. Yeah, we’re all just making ourselves more and more sensitive until we won’t really be able to talk about anything meaningful. Yuck.

Yeah, one thing that’s also a big problem is that no one knows how to refer to a black person or a hispanic person anymore. Everyone is too afraid they’re going to piss someone off.

One of the funniest exchanges I can remember in high school was between two of my friends in ROTC. One was black and one was Filipino. They would be talking to each other and what not and after every sentence or question would come out a racial slur. People who didn’t know them were always shocked, amazed or even scared that something was going to happen. But alas, they were just making fun of the who idea. I just had to watch myself lest I be called honky or cracker =P. Good Times

Yeah, everyone’s scared that someone’s going to take offense to something they said and sue them or speak out again them or something. Yeeeesh. But, I guess there are some people who do. Hypersensitive folks.

Unidentified Hacker,
I'd like to blow a big raspberry to the fans of PC.  It's like a giant form of denial: "we can't talk about that, it might hurt somebody's feelings.".  Well, maybe talking about what's really going on might be good for everybody's feelings in the long run.

Unidentified-H,
I couldn't agree more. I can't stand all this PC crap. I wish people would just shut up already. One of the only things that comes to mind that I would have to say is totally non-PC and wrong is when people refer to black people as "colored." That's not cool. It's mostly older folks, but I still here it now and then and it bugs me.

The most ridiculous thing I've heard is it was politically incorrect to give the winner of the Indy 500 (or some other major car race) milk because a lot of black people are lactose intolerant. What? How many black guys race cars anyway? I agree, at times it's taken too far.

Yep, people are idiots...

I always flash back to the Suicidal Tendencies You Can't Bring Me Down when I hear this stuff...the line goes something like this...

...and if I've offended you, I'm sorry...Oh yeah, one more thing....FUCK YOU!...You can't Bring me down

Ha! How'd ya like them apples...

Peace Hacker...

Haha. Yeah! That'd be fun. I could just pretend that EVERYTHING they said offended me and hurt my feelings. Now that would be fun. "Let's not use the word 'the', it might be offensive to people named 'Theodore'"

U-Hacker
In your wet dream you could really screw with them and tell them that "brain shower" was also offensive to one who has "brain disorders", and then just keep on finding domething "offensive" about everything they came up with to replace it, untill they completely exhausted themselves and just conceded that "brain storm" might not be that offensive after all. Hee,hee :)
