Strat...I'll bet I know a dance you're good at...
The Body Bump? Done between the sheets, no clothes allowed, maybe just some blood, sweat and tears.

OMG! I can't believe I missed this post...very clever...PLUS

I can't believe you're a Van Morrison fan. If you don't have Avalon Sunset CD, then you must get out tomorrow and buy it.

Now tell me the name of that first CD you mentioned, some eclectic symphony people---you know I never listen to half what you say!!!

I have the Moondance CD, plus, what's that other one? "What's Wrong With This Picture?"

Funny story about that one. I got drunk one nite and put it in my car CD player upside down and f**ked the damn thng up...that's the main reason I had to buy a new car...well, there was this other reason...about the diesel in the gas tank? Nevermind.

How brown are your eyes........or are they blue and you're a quart low on the top?! Have you ever heard the joke about how the sailor tried to convice the Irish cop he was walkin' like that because he just got off a ship...and the cop said he had 10 kids and he didn't walk like...bump, bump, bump...(one of those demo jokes) I just remembered that one from junior high!!! Anyway, if it makes you feel better...you just stand there and I'll dance around ya!

Ya don't have to do any specific kinda dance, silly! Just get out there and pretend your hips are a bass and go bump, bump, bump to the beat.....I know you can follow the beat, Strat...nobody cares what your feet are doin'....it's the hips...the hips...the beat, the beat....

Got a confession, Dearest.
I play guitar because I can't dance worth a damn...But it's a nice thought, anyway.

Now, Limey...I said "probably has two left feet", and you know you love to
get the scraps going and put the teasers in your titles....now, be honest...I know you are an honorable man...well, I've been giving you credit for that!!!!. The little was meant like when I pinch your adorable cheeks...I really picture you as rather dashing...tell me if I'm wrong? That's just how I talk to men when I'm flirting just a little..... And the nitwit was the same thing...just teasin' you and you very well know it! Now, stop actin' all put out!  If you really are, I'm sorry because I would not stoop to be as mean as you sometime are to others because you haven't really been to me....okay? Come on....just a little dance?  Please.....

Two left feet. Little. Nitwit. And you say I'm the one who "likes to call names, put the teasers in his blog titles, get the scraps going..." The downright cheek - typical American.

After that, I'm afraid it's going to have to be an 'excuse me'- moonlight or not.

Right! Besides the fact that I spent a few years early in my life on the extemporaneous speaking team and had to read a wide variety of newspapers and magazines - thus seeing side-by-side versions of the same stories and how distorted each was depending on the editorial slant - an becoming cynical early in my life as to the dependability of any of our news sources.......I spent a long career in management, working with reports and statistics...massaging them with the best of them to explain, buy time, justify...whatever necessary to get my job done while keeping the brass off my ass and keep my people protected so they could get the customers handled...sorry, but figures lie and liars figure....it's all a futile exercise in blah, blah, blah...but, hey, whatever toots your whistle!!

Krisles,
that would be a sight.  There's a book out somewhere I've always liked the title of, "How to lie with statistics".  Numbers can be manipulated any number of ways depending on the intent of the person quoting them.  I am very leery of them.  I did read Limey's last post, to each their own.  Much more informed people than I am on the subject of English history have said it better, but my feeling is "A brit is calling Americans egotistic and imperialistic?"  That's rich!

Thank you! Wouldn't it be nice if the world could work this way? And as an aside...I never have seen this group around town, but if you ever get a chance to, they are great!
