Exactamundo. I hate racism and discrimination; I think they're two of the most ignorant ideals out there, right behind violence. But these people just seem to invite it over and over again. Gah.

Yeah, there are those people who get pissed because they are discriminated against, but then they get mad when they don't get special treatment based on it.  Which is it?!  Do you want to be treated different or not?  If so, you have to take the bad with the good.  It's just the way it is.
