Cass,

Enjoy your time off work...You definitely deserve it!!  Get plenty of rest and have a fabulous time away!!  Enjoy your visit with your best friend and try to have a good time while visiting your parents.  I know some of that part of your visit might be a bit rough on you, but it'll all work to the good, I promise you.  I'll miss you while you're away and I'll be thinking of you.

Just to get away, change your schedule...even in the less than ideal times you can have some think time or reading time maybe? I'm just glad you get to do it but wish you could be warm...I'm a little chilled right now from the a/c and feel guilty! Stay warm, enjoy and come back with lots of posts for us to enjoy!

remember that even in the parts of the vacation that seem like the would be hard to deal with, there could be hidden gems! keep your chin up!
