Mark...
...I cannot tell a lie - there were sheep. Not on the site - on the walk into the village - but I can put hand on heart and honestly say that none of them were hurt in the making of this bike rally.
Stimulated, maybe. But not hurt.
BAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

Ca88andra...
...I can see you now in a huge trenchcoat, an earpiece, and a menacing "don't-even-think-about-trying-anything" expression on your face!
Or not....
Thanks for reading!

Dylan...
...colours in this case are the collective name for the patches worn by Hells Angels, Satans Slaves, Warlocks and other bike gangs.
This event has been plagued in the past by gang wars and violence (tho not for a few years now). Banning the wearing of colours does not ban the individuals, but does make fisticuffs a lot less likely.
Thanks for reading!

I worked as security at a similar weekend a couple of years ago. It was actually a festival built around the humble chilli, but organised by bikies (bikers if you prefer) and involved lots of music, drinking and eating of the hottest chillis around. I liked working there, but would never go otherwise!

Phew...for a second I was startled...
by the "no colours"...sounds dangerously close to the "no coloreds" that marred our past as racist imperialists (by "our" I mean Anglo-American, which seems a fair analysis).
Of course I know that you would not associate with an organization that was racist, so I figured it had to be something different.
Sounds like a lot of fun. Have a fun but safe time you rabble-rouser!
