Limey --
to make up for not acting like the "fairer sex," I have written a post (sort of) in tribute to and agreement with you. You can't miss it; it's the first one I've written in two months.
And I did not even swear!

You're annoyed with me? I can't say I noticed.
My language - is it so appalling? I'm surprised, I do try to temper it: or hadn't you noticed?

Ha ha ha Limey,
your point/question is well taken. Ironically, I would never think of using such language in my normal daily discourse with folks. I rarely swear. However, I am frequently annoyed with your blogs (you couldn't tell, could ya?) and find myself sinking, on a regular basis, to your own level of mud slinging.

Limey, Your writing has a lot of panache...
You actually have a great sense of humor crumpled up inside your vitriolic wit. Thanks for your support, whenever I can get it.

Do I have to keep saying it: this blog's about America and your shortcomings. Don't keep trying to move the goal-posts.
America gives nothing away: all 'gifts'from your greedy country come with strings attached. As for energy - start using renewables and save the planet.
By the way, for a member of the fair sex, you certainly know how to endear yourself to one. What's your language like on a normal day?

What the hell has that got to do with anything? As I've said many times, this blog is about America and your shortcoming, not Britain's. (I wan't aware we had any, by the way!).
PS You get your points over pretty well - and, I must say, your lobbying for clicks seems to have paid off!

The problem is this: you people think you have a God-given right to turn the world into a mirror image of America and, at the same time, exploit its resources.
Most other countries don't want to be like the US and, certainly, they don't like having their resources stolen from them.
Remember this: the world is not a backdrop for America: America is but one part of this diverse planet.
Its time you saw yourselves as others see and regard you.

America has to use more renewable energy and, thereby, protect the environment.

Intriguing, once again.
I've always thought that Britain's and Canada's standard of living is fairly comparable to America's. So factor yourselves into the damn equation for once. Or are you too busy blowing it out your ass to do that research?
And while you're pontificating on your soap box, keep in mind that America does export a phenomenal amount of food products to other countries. So yes, we make it here, and consume all sorts of energy in the process, and then sell or GIVE it to other countries.
Oh and yes, would someone puhleeze knock Limey off his soap box? He's been hogging the limelight far too long.

Okay, Limey.....
If the Brits were so smart, then how did that tabloid reporter break into the high security building Prince Harry was in?! The reporter says he could have blown up the young, dashing prince. You fools, you can't even take care of your Royalty properly..There--I had to let you have it, Limey. America is the greatest place to live and you know it, as you sit in your Levi jeans and drink yourself blotto with some good ole Jack Daniels. P.S.- I still think you convey your thoughts quite successfully, though. Cheerio, Love.

Limey,
So, so true!
We Americans are greedy as if it is a job to be done well - it isn't. And some of us are worse than others. My husband knows a guy who siad a few weeks ago, "I don't care how much gas costs. I can afford gas."
Let us now take a moment of silence to try and fully grasp the ineptitude. Nope. Can't do it. Too....much.....ineptitude. This was said during a discussion on the value (or in this ignoramus' world, the drawbacks) of electric vehicles. Sad. Mind-boggling. Stupid Americans!
