What you say rings true if one looks at the way things go,
but the point is not to lose heart and work with one's conscience and work on the basis of what the conscience dictates, no matter what others are doing or expect you to do for their vested interests.Just my way of thinking!

GD, this also happens in political elections; often the wrong candidate
wins, especially with our idiotic Electoral College system. Thanks for your comment on MD/PHD history.

Very well-written and so true. I enjoyed reading that and what a great observation.  It is strange how people do that....kind of like no matter where they put a sidewalk, people will decide where the path will be.
