thank you so much....I wrote it for my best friend, and now when I call she answers the phone, "hi best poem writer in the world..." (she's, of course, biased) she couldn't believe I would write it for her...makes me want to write a million...:)

You have a wonderful way with words
I especially like the last lines, "and love me, even when clouds fill my eyes" - great imagery and metaphor.

Thanks very much Saul....
Me, too on that painting....the artist was only like 16 or something at the time I think. I love the feeling of it. :)

The moon never fails to inspire, in love and loss. No? ;)

Cass, the moon is a wicked temptress.
So beautiful, yet always out of reach. Anything by moonlight can seem better. :)

You just can't beat "ahhhh" as a response. It's what I was feeling a bit. Thanks, sweetheart.

Nice
Like this, the sentiment reminds me of a similar poem I wrote a couple years back, called "Far Away With Her." I think I'll post it on my Blog, in honor of this feeling -M

Ah yes, look at me waltzing.... ;) Thank you so much. Sorry not to be around more, trying to make so much happen on the "outside" -- (always sounds like prison...lol...). It's nice to be missed, and that is a sweet thing to say. :)
I'm glad you liked it.

Yes, it is a universal thought...I always thought it was comforting when you miss someone. Thanks for reading and leaving a comment. :)

And you, my dear,
Waltz in and leave a thing of beauty... then waltz right back out again! You are missed when you are gone!
