I feel cheated
Not a single person in my entire lifetime has ever approached me to buy speakers out of a trunk. They barely approach me in the store. Do you think the word went out that you were the frugal French guy and you were easy pickins? I'll bet they feel stupid now. You think the mailmen union told them?
When I first started reading, I kept seeing "sneakers." That would have made sense. I just found out a few years ago that people throw sneakers over the telephone lines. Are people hiding these things from me? Why don't they want me to know? I could see the sneakers out of the back of the trunk thing. This would give the other half shoes to throw over the telephone lines. Speakers, I don't get.
