I'm comin in a few months....
..though I prefer to take in some London theatre while I'm there! ;) I'll ask my stepdaughters if they've seen it. Sure has stirred up some controversy!

Your description of John Hagelin's showbusiness background has put the film into context wonderfully well. It's just as I thought.

I believe I've heard of that film. I saw a blurb about it (or a similar project) in some news magazine. It was a long writeup, but I wasn't terribly impressed. I've spent the last few years reading up on theoretical physics, the Theory of Everything, String and Superstring Theory and all, and while intriguing and creatively-inspiring... So much of it is *still* hard to get my mind around. I did, however, realise enoug about it all to understand that the film seemed to be filled with a load of pseudo-science (with a dash of self-help junk psychology).
I'm going to check into it more now, but I'm not going to shell out any dough to see it.
[NOTE: John Hagelin is a nutjob. He's often on a national late-night radio program over here that caters to the End-of-the-World, New World Order, Aliens-Got-Me-Pregnant, Ancient-Incan-Recipes-Cure-Cancer, Your-Cellphone-May-Be-Sentient crowd. Hagelin also proposes "a 'Vedic Defense Shield' for permanent, proven solution to terrorism tragedies and wars, and creation of lasting world peace." (He wants us to pray or somehow otherwise install world peace and nonviolence into an invisible shield of goodwill and harmony under which no evil can be done and no evil can penetrate from the stars above.) I heard him talk about it on some wacky satellite tv program at 3am or so. And that's not even the strangest of his "notions".]
