I hereby surrender all privileges of complaining about small space. I shall submit an official resignation in paper at a time yet to be decided. OOGA BOOGA I have no idea where that came from.

Mary
Indeed I did used to have a "writing desk", but with the space limitation of this new place I've had to combine my computer desk and writing desk into one. Ahh well, I'll make it work somehow. And yes, it was all a devious and maniacle plan of mine, keeping all of the moving trucks busy. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

You wanna talk about small living spaces?  I lived in lisachef's basement last summer.  It wouldn't have been so bad if I wasn't also storing a lot of my wife's stuff as well as mine for our move at the end of the summer.  We've got waaaaaaay too much crap.

Unid'd Hacker,

Aha! It was you! I suspect you were behind the weekend shortage of moving vans available in Seattle. I don't know how you did it, but it was diabolical. Fortunately, we were finally able to finally able to foil your plan and move a couch (not our own, my boyfriend's customer, it was a delivery).

Hmmm, scaling down on size in furniture?  Sounds like a plan, we've decided to make this tiny one bedroom work.  One thing,  I was going bonkers (the technical term), not being able to set up a writing area (longhand, with journals, not computer), and having to put away my materials every time my boyfriend comes home.  We've agreed that if we're going to stay in this apt., we need writing desk(s), so maybe have to sacrifice a couch.  Do you have a "writing desk"? I wonder do others?  A dedicated space for writing longhand as opposed to typing.

Every time I think that your relationship with the roommate's girlfriend has reached an impasse, you manage to reach a new detente.  Congratulations, at least you could achieve peace before you left.
