Fair enough.
Only to a limited extent can fundamentally-religious questions be subject to intellectual inquiry, as I was taught in religious school that faith requires accepting things that cannot necessarily be defended rationally or proven scientifically.

Hi Dylan, Not offended at all. Thank you for raising such a

question for discussion.  I can see where you are coming from.  After all, many Jewish people may not even know Jesus is King of the Jews.  I think the consequence of Hell is for those who reject Jesus as Savior, after hearing about him.

Remember the robber next to Him on the cross.  That robber accepted Jesus before his death.  Jesus responded in love, by telling the robber, "Today you will be with me in paradise."

Just some of my thoughts.

Just to play Devil's Advocate (literally?):
I'm not sure how keen you are on having an intellectual debate about an article of faith, but just in case, consider that if doing more good works than bad and being a generally good and caring person does not earn you salvation, just because you do not believe in a particular rendition of the divine, that the God in charge of the whole process is not being entirely fair?  To put it differently, do you honestly believe that a Jewish person who does not believe in Christ, or an atheist who rejects any god, or an agnostic who remains unsure, even if they are wonderful and helpful people, serving their fellow people, will not go to heaven?  Even as a Christian I have never been able to really accept this notion.  I have long considered that a just God would forgive our errors in doctrine or faith if we had done all we could to be good people, acting like Christians even if we do not believe like Christians.  I hope my argument does not offend you.  That's not my purpose.  I'm just raising a possible question for discussion.
