Kingmi,
So after the first term did you become a Reagan Republican?

There's no quick win in a struggle to secure freedom. One day, those who denounce the effort, will praise it.

Hey, kingmi. I agree with scoop on this one, especially about Powell.
Bush isn't in this alone, nor should he garner all the blame. But that's politics; all crap rises to the top. However, I disagree that Bush shouldn't be impeached. The Downing St. memo alone, not to mention all the other lies and fabrications, should get him impeached. Taking us to war under false pretenses? Getting our boys killed for nothing?
Still, you are absolutely correct. This debate is good catharsis for the American public and its soul (or lack thereof sometimes), regardless of the outcome of this little brouhaha.

Even though I knock him probably 75% of the time, he also has a good side
he should not be impeached. Everything that has gone wrong is not his fault. A person told me one time that a good man in business or politics surrounds themselves with smart people. Bush did not do this and acted on bad advice and information. The smartest guy he had was Powell and for some reason he did not live up to his potential. Bush has 3 1/2 tough years ahead and we need to unite and work together. I will still knock when I feel it is warranted but I also will give him praise or thanks when I feel it is needed.
