Roald Dahl was brilliant.
I keep forgetting about him as a favorite writer, but he did so much, and all of it was fraught with little twists, turns, insight grenades, and marvelous, tightly wrapped, usually very funny endings. Enjoy the book!

I loved the Willie Wonka books...
but they are different from the movie somewhat... still have to love a place where candy rules...but all those oopah loompah songs get stuck in your head. Have fun reading in your new place!
It's a housewarming present. I'd wrap it but you know...

Dude, if you've never read the book, you're in for a surprise. It's nothing like the movie. In fact, that's why I'm looking forward to Tim Burton's vision of it - it's closer to the book. w00t!
