Sunshinegal, you can not tell those who will not listen. Many are Gods
unto themselves. You have put it out plain. It is of no value to read the Bible unless one is reading it of the
Spirit of the writer. They won't understand it. They have turned their backs on God and that is truly their decision and choice. You have done all you can do. That was good.

God is good.
I'll try one more time, here, to tell you what my husband and I have learned to be the Truth. How come there is more evil than good? Because Satan is the prince of the power of the air of this world. He (Lucifer) was once God's favorite angel, but Lucifer (Satan) became convinced within himself that he was greater than God. That is why he was vamoosed from heaven and given a certain length of time on earth. God has already won this conflict that has been going on between them for so long. God is light,...Satan is darkness. God is God and has won the conflict by sending Jesus to the cross to die for the sins of the world, so that mankind could be reunited with God the Father. Satan wants us all to go to hell, because that is where he will be eternally ...and he knows it. So, he sends forth his spirit on earth to see whom he might devour...(who might believe his lies.) God loves...Satan hates.. And people perish for lack of knowledge, the Bible says. Read the New Testament. The fear of God is the beginning of understanding. There will be a battle in the course of time. The world will wax worse and worse until that day when God pours His judgment out on mankind. No one will be able to stand that. People covered by Jesus' blood ...those who are saved ...will escape God's wrath...but those who will not bow...are already condemned to hell by their own choice. God provided a way out...it is free to any (whosoever) who will take it...but we have to give up our pride and acknowledge that we have done wrong...(everyone on earth except Jesus Christ) has done wrong. We have to ask God's forgiveness and turn away from our sins, going forth to follow God's teachings and commandments. I sincerely hope this might have shed some light on some things for you. I will let you go, now, on your own to make your own choices. I have just laid out the facts as I know them, here. Faith in God is a good thing. A wonderful thing, and there is a wonderful relationship that goes on between a believer and God...through Jesus Christ our Lord. Eternity is going to come. everyone is going to die...except the generation who is alive just before the Battle of Armageddon, when Jesus comes back in the clouds for his bride. (the church.) Then there will be nothing left on earth but unbelievers and the anti-Christ (Satan, the false prophet.) It will be a time of terrible plagues, terrible chaos and one disaster after another. Just read the book of Revelation. The Bible is True and it is all going to come to pass.There is just no getting around the facts. Every knee shall bow...every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. And that is the Word of God. Bye bye.

so god is only good
and satan is evil
thus -- satan is not of god.
and god is not satan
and evil is not god.
and these things are entirely separate from god.
thus -- we have two universes
and there is a split.
and is god then powerless to stop evil since there is so much of it? -- there's much more evil than good in the world.
how come?

how God thinks...
First of all, let me say God invented thinking. Remember, God is Holy. Holy is only good. It's hard for the human race to fathom the way that God thinks, because we are born with a sinful nature. God is only good. He can't even look upon sin (or evil)...His mind is pure, holy, good, all the time for eternity. It's really quite amazing to think about. Maybe you don't agree with this, but if you read the bible, and pray for understanding, you can understand his way of thinking. Start in the book of John , right after the book of Luke in the new testament.. See there are two entities....God and Satan. God is all good ...Satan is all bad.
There is no evil found in God and there is no good found in Satan. He is the deceiver, come to steal, kill and destroy. People blame God for so many things. Just think, he was so gracious that he provided ..through Jesus' willingness to sacrifice ..the only way we can be redeemed back to Him....the only way we can be saved or born again. Without that gift (the reason for Christmas)...mankind would all be doomed to hell because of sin. I just think God is so glorious and wonderful......his design...the universe...babies...the very setup of nature and the seasons, the perfection of flowers and all that nature entails...the galaxies...the planets in perfect pattern......these all came from God's mind.....could we have done that? I hardly think so...even taking total darkness and by saying 'let there be light'...and it all coming into being just by his saying the words....WOW! How can anyone doubt His existence...and His deity and right to do anything he wants.
Who could have thought up the miracles the bible speaks of...
I could go on and on about it. Ever listen to the Crabb Family's music...or John Hagee's Ministry...or Billy Graham...or others? Believing in and Trusting God is the most fulfilling thing on this earth. I'm tryin to tell you what I've found to be true in my own life. I just would not trade knowing God and His wonderful peace and joy and love for anything else in the world. Take care.

The mind of God
The mind of God is throughout the Bible...starting with creation, going forth in the Ten Commandments...in the love represented by sending His only Son to earth to die on a cross of punishment for sin...when Jesus was not guilty of any of it. The Bible is the mind of God his handbook for all mankind until that day when He comes back to earth to make things the way they should be. We have a choice....believe or not believe and to be born again or not. If we choose not, we are eternally damned to hell by our own choice. If we accept God's Son, and repent and turn from our sins, and obey His word in how we live our life, then we will reap the rewards that Jesus has earned for us through His death on the cross. God help us all to understand and make the right choice before it is too late in this life.
