Unid'd Hacker,
To me, it seems what happens when someone takes what is an intensely profound inner experience, and tries to make an "-ism" out of it, and force it down other's throats. What experiences prophets had, and then tried to take that to the king of their day, and say, "Look, I've had this vision, this intense experience, and this is what I interpret it to mean, and how it should apply to society in general, otherwise, chaos will ensue." The problem is, that chaos is still ensuing. It definitely seems to have taken a wrong turn somewhere. Deityrrhexis? Mu? I couldn't find the suffix "rhexis" in my dictionary.

Sorry, that should have read "bread and wine", not "blood"

That's what happens when people only have a continuous diet of blood and

wine -- extensive deityrrhea with complications.

Good post.

Aw, did you have to invoke my name so
close to something ending in -rhea?
