Slight stylistic problem with this ending, muser....

the formal requirements of a sonnet preclude the same word being used as a rhyme.  So perhaps you could wed the penultimate line's end-word dead with a better rhyme!  With such a good head on your shoulders, and so eloquent a grasp of the wonders of wordplay at your disposal, I know you can follow my lead!
