- Go to How does one explain the tears?
It's strange, very very strange.. Wel, but guess that's the way life is!
Yes, sure, they are ok, but how long will they be? And sometimes, they sure give up!!

Cass,
Good for you...Never, ever hide your tears. Like you, I can't stand sad stories or news broadcasts...Everyone tells me I'm ignorant not to keep up with world affairs, but I just can't...Too sad for me.
I hope that makes you feel a bit better...God bless.

SUDDENLY
I don't know why you feel the need to explain. Men cry as often as women they just don't shed as many tears.

You go Cass!
It used to take little to set me off. Movies still set me off. Still, I've toughened up some.

Cass.....
...could it be hormones? I used to blame everything on hormones. Not that I'm on synthetic hormones I don't use them as excuses for behaviour but I know they can reek havoc with your emotions. I was one who could never cry..never. And then the year 1997 hit and my marriage fell apart and at the same time I lost my sister, my best friend. I haven't stopped crying since then...that year brought out all the tears of the past too I believe. I too cry a lot now..happy stuff, memories and bad stuff. I think it's healthy.

I get this too
and I am not sure why either...I remember writing a poem a while back about it....it went something like this...
When the darkness enters you shudder in pain
Your lost for words, when you want to explain
Why does it have to keep happening again and again
Your heart aches so much but you cant pin point why
There never seems to be an answer
But plenty of reason to cry
there was more to it than that but I can't remember the words....damn it.....
take care

Well, as you know
I've been crazed lately. I can cry when I'm happy as well. It's ok. When people give me funny looks, I just tell them I must have had a stroke. Actually, once when I messed up right and left in front of a patient, I blamed it on my stroke and my patient was most sympathetic and compliant the rest of the night! I think crying is good. It releases all these toxins...I think. Toxic emotions anyway, better released than building up.
Got a kleenex? (just kidding) :)

Hate when that happens, those tears just seem to come out of no where. Even when I am laughing so hard the tears come. Doesn't do anything for my make-up. Like you, who knows where they come from?I'am not unhappy, not homeless, healthy, and I still cry sometimes. Sure hope the rest of my life isn't like that. For now, I can only tell you, there harmless and sometimes it feel good when the tears are gone...
