It is a microcosm, but I sometimes think it's a little bit of a distorted one of the real world. Sometimes I wish it was, sometimes I wish it wasn't. It definitely is not the Good Ship Lollipop, although many seem to think so. Sometimes I think it's the Land of Oz, or maybe Alice's Wonderland.
The problem is that everyone has a phantasy in their mind that they think it is. They aren't trying to figure out what it really is, they make up what they want it to be, and they believe in that.
