That's what I can't help but think as well. They both believe in the same God, the same Christ, the same Bible, yet they skirmish at every chance they get.

UH, It is strange that members of a religion of love draws and shoots so
many darts. It is not the individual church and its rules that is "The Church".

What I do in that situation.
When I find myself cornered by a well meaning(or not)zealot, I simply start telling them what I believe and they evaporate rather quickly.
