We tend to follow America when it comes to crazes - and much else.
So I'll enjoy telling everyone this one's not going to last and they might just as well save their energy.
I'm already conserving mine: well to be perfectly frank, I've yet to take my first salsa steps.

No you don't need to say it, and I commend you on your restraint.

Let's try this again
Tab does not take me from subject to body but rather from subject to add comment....that coupled with a spastic finger motion in the vicinity of the enter key results in a mispost. My mistake...
At any rate, I must say, as a kind of general comment in response to today's post as well as the title of this blog itself that I am proud to be ...something. But an American may not be that something, based on many things, this list being numbers 2-10 of my top ten reasons not to be proud to be an American.
And if King George and his minions have anything to say about it, many of the things I am proud of may be covertly stripped from me under the cover of darkness. The freedom to say/write/read anything I want, to smoke my cigarettes ...well, actually to smoke my cigarettes at all, rumor has it...the freedom to not be forced to have a baby I don't want or can't take care of, the freedom to, in the end, get back the money I saved throughout my life, whether I wanted to or not.
I suppose it's best I stop here. I have a tendency to become very opinionated and verbose when it comes to the state of the US and the duplicity therein. Take care of you and yours and I shall see you all soon.

"We’re number one in daily per capita consumption of calories."
...This from Michael Moore.
...Do I even need to say it?
Sorry, that's a bullshit argument on my part -- attacking the person instead of the issues. About much of that, he is quite right. We need some decent self-reflection and -criticism.

The Salsa craze seems to have died right along with the fascination with Jo lo's rubenesquely large ass - as well as her inability to hang on to Ben Affleck.

As I'm particularly interested in environmental matters, I must see it. Thanks.
PS Tell me, is salsa still popular in the US? I've written elsewhere that everyone's jigging away over here.

The film is eerily - fiction stranger than fact or fact that might be fiction - or art imitating life? one of those.

So what is wrong with this statistic. I think they all should die but suffer before they die.

Did you see the film? I wanted to but missed it.
Over here Michael Moore is looked on as a bigoted blue-shirt who appeals to those who can't think.
On the other hand, I find he comes up with some interesting arguments - and he's quite funny

No one can argue with this list -
except the same ones who had issues with
Fahrenheit 911 - and well - need I say more? or would that be Moore?

Thanks for the invitation. I would dealy liked to have welcomed you and your boyfried to the UK, but, alas, it won't be possible.
However, do enjoy your visit, and make the most of your time in Somerset, a truly lovely county.
Cheers! - which means both goodbye and enjoy your drink (a kind of toast).
