hey, doigotta, reinforcing a forgotten fact only strengthens its
resiliency in the old memory bank. Thanks. I knew the basics, that they did it through the bone, but not about the spacing. In fact, what little I did know, I beleive came from Michael Crichton. But then, I read a lot of dinosaur stuff from the library to my son when he was small, so I may have picked it up in one of those books.

Saul, Do you know how they can track the growth patter of the dinosaur??
They can slice into the bone and it has rings, just like a tree,Tellin how old they are and they can even calculate the rate at which they grew. When they are mature and nearing their late years the rings are spaced out more. When the rings are close together it is in a period of phenominal growth.!!I hope I did not bore you with something you already knew.
