They tend to burn out from all that "fire"

And of course when the message is hate (disguised as God's word), well they also tend to straddle Conduct Policy line a little too close.

One thing they don't like is being ganged up on, by bloggers who feel they should defend themselves and others. One thing a bully fears is those who fight back.

Of course they take that "fire" to other places too. I would hate to be a relative of theirs, that's for sure. Talk about getting an earful! Of course to disagree with them might earn you a "fistful"!

David1Spirit -- yessir, well put
They come charging in intent on straightening out the world only to find out that there are more heathens than they counted on. There is one indentifiable trend found in this however. I've seen people leave Blogit and return a few months later a number of times. Did it myself as a matter of fact but I have yet to see the "Fire and Brimstone" types do this. Admittedly I may be looking at too small of a sampling but over nearly 2 years here I have yet to see a certifiable bible thumper return to Blogit. Was it something we said?

Oh I am sure of it.

A tough Christian fundamentalist with a Bible, a soapbox, and a booming voice is probably deciding on a Blogit nickname as we speak. He has his credit card in hand, and "sinners" on his mind...LOL!

David1Spirit -- I have seen this type of calm before, sometimes the
vitriol loses it's own momentum but rest assured that it is only temporary, at least it always has been.

Well, it kinda killed the idea behind my latest post

But I tried!

And for the most part, those knocked down dragged out battles have simmered down some. Sure would like to see that trend continue too!
