WHAT!

Gray's Anatomy is one of the most shallow, contrived, made for TV shows that has come along in a while. I have given it a fair shake and have watched every show since it was released. My husband and I agreed this last show that this will be the last show. What is with all of the f_ing among the residents and the interns? How can anyone call this an intelligent show? As far as ER, I have always disliked the melodrama in that stupid show. Mark Greene was a pussy and I was happy to hear that he eventually met the fate of TV death. As far as I can tell, there is nothing on television right now that can be classified as intelligent, original or even interesting. We are inundated with reality crap, warmed over cop and medical shows and sitcoms. Thank God for the series on HBO and Showtime. "Band of Brothers"...now that was intelligent television.

House?
Have not heard of it. Is that short for something else, or is "House" the title?

Yes, but now ol' Bill seems to be in on the joke and enjoying it  instead of the unintended butt of it.   House is a great show: curmudgeon with a heart of gold doctor and his staff, all the politics, the convoluted diagnoses, it's really well written.

"HOUSE" IS A VERY GOOD MEDICAL SHOW ALSO

Shatner was particulalry funny
. . . decades ago when he thought he could sing and put out an album of his songs!

heck, all the writers would have to do is pick up daily newspapers from around the country; kids are creative rascals! ;-)

Yes, Boston Legal was also good, although I missed a lot of episodes. The ones I saw were very good.

Boston Public ran out of stories I think
Every thing that could possibly happen to the students in any school were just about covered in its 3 or so years on the tube. But it was good while it lasted.

Archiew,
I burned out on ER as well, I'm not that impressed with what I've seen of Gray"s Anatomy in terms of characterization and plot.  I just wish that the network hadn't pulled Boston Legal, one of my favorite shows, to give Gray's a plug.  I miss BL

Critics liked it a lot?
Well, no matter, I still like it! Of course, a critically acclaimed show may not last. I liked Boston Public also, but it seems to have disappeared . . . .

I heard it was very good
I watched the opening few minutes yesterday, then got sidetracked. The critics like it a lot!
