gome
it has been a pleasure reading your work. you are absolutely right that a person's actions speaks volumes. you can tell who is thinking and who is merely trying to dominate. great post.

Thank you...you just made my day...well, let's just be honest, my LIFE!

Ariala -- I can honestly say that you are the classiest act amongst
persons of faith that I have met here on Blogit. It is not in the living up to the expectations of knuckleheads who have not even a rudimentary grasp of their own faith's underlying precepts, it is entirely in one's actions and in the case of the ever volatile Blogit dynamic, in one's reactions as well. You consistently set a very high standard in this regard. Don't let the detractors get you down.

kooka_lives -- I thought you might identify with this post
One thing that many who would try to convert you or I seem not to be able to understand is: who the hell wants to be like them? Who in their right mind would willingly want to abandon rational thought, the challenge and satisfaction that is derived from living one's life to the fullest. Or the inherent peace of mind that comes from accepting all personal responsibility for one's actions while carving one's own path. Give up this mindset to embrace something antiquated and inferior?

gomedome, thank you for reassuring me of this, because I've always wondered

what you thought of me...yes, I've read some nice posts you've written about me, but after others have punched me in the face, kicked me in the stomach and left me for dead on the side of the Blogit Cafe (do I hear violins yet?), it's nice to know you still feel as you do.  Thanks...

And the "we" I referred to was the Christians, for I am among them and at times I fail miserably, as I'm sure you've seen me do.

Ariala - you used the word "we" in your comment
I know you meant it tongue in cheek but I just want you to know that I don't for a second include you amongst the obtuse. Your attitude towards your own beliefs and the way you conduct yourself with others is refreshing.
