Readywriter55,
This is no longer a matter of agreement! There are nothing but "real" facts in my comments! It is part of public record!

DamonLeigh, You need an attitude adjustment -- you don't have to agree, but neither do you have to be mean!

Glennb, I thank you for reading, and though I do not agree with your assesment, and yield to you the right to believe as you do!

Readywriter55,
Too many false assumption in the message of this post! Your nostalgia for the Reagan years do not play evenly with the facts. The most enduring thing I took away from the Reagan years is the election night statement that his election represented the: "Revenge of the White Male"! I do not think Mr. Reagan was coherent enough to even know the difference! But it probably was a catalyst for the return of "Jim Crow" in a more stealthy form.

Actually...
...I think you'll find it was Gorbechev who 'tore down the Iron Curtain', though Reagan was a good supporting actor in that drama.

The Pope missed way more opportunities than he took to make the world a better place. Specifically, he never OK'd the use of condoms for Catholics, thereby condeming millions of Africans and African children to an untimely death from HIV / AIDS.

As for GWB - he would best serve the world by falling out of his presidential helicopter at 10,000 feet.
