MrZiggles, I do seem to recall something about a trilogy, too.  Yes, I have read that about Pitcairn Island.  It must be a lovely place.

Well you always clear something up for me. I was in Coles bookstore here yesterday and I couldn't understand why I was seeing all the new copies of Mutiny on the Bounty. Thanx luv

HMS Bounty
I seem to recall the story being originally a trilogy. The mutiny and the events that led up to it. The voyage of Bligh and his loyalists, called Men Against the Sea. And a third story which I don't remember the topic of.
BTW- the mutineers settled on Pitcairn Island and their descendants still live there.

I didn't know that stuff about him either.
Plus, I tend to confuse him with Captain Queeg of The Caine Mutiny.  I thought that extra info was interesting.  Thanks for reading and commenting.

Captian Bligh the hero?
Interesting...my dad had a book about Captian Bligh aroud here somewhere. I'll look and maybe read it.
