You made the claim, now back it up. Go find the missing votes. You won't find them here in Ohio, where everything was recounted - at taxpayer expense, thank you very much - to the satisfaction of observers from both parties. I won't lower myself to your namecalling, but you are fwmistaken on that. You are right, though, about the lack of  total agreement among Republicans. Fortunately, there are a few Democrats who are sensible enough to offset some of them.

Not true

A few months after the dust settled, there was a small piece WAAAY In the back of the NYTIMES. About 1 column inch.

They quietly reported that all the votes in Fla were counted and Bush won by a landslide.

Writer of Blight! If every vote counted in 2000 ...
Gore would have been President. The reason why Democrats are blocking 10 out of 200 nominations is because they know the Republicans have a simple majority in the Senate. It's a parlimentary tactic. I'm not really so sure all Republicans will vote lockstep with the White House to accept every one of those 10. Depends on the latest public opinion poll.
