I'm glad you enjoyed!! How odd that I've never once been to Canada...I only live a few hours away from the border..I spent about 12 hours in France back in 1991....An English friend of mine took me when I went to visit him.
Sadly, we didn't go to Paris...I'd love to return to France one day and go there. My French is actually atrocious...I only know a few words.

Well done luv, well done. I think you capture the French fact very well, and your characters have, well, character. Having lived in France and being from Québec makes me a half decent critic I think.
Your description of the rain and then her seeing the sun thorugh the trees brought back many memories for me of just such mornings in France.
Of course I would have been hung over then, with a throat raw from smoking Gitane cigaretts at that time, or even worse Russian ones. Keep up the great writing luv
