avant-garde -- I think the thing about people claiming that Satan is real
that shocks me the most, is how adamant they are that whatever they have heard second hand or through someone else is valid. A willingness to accept someone's word on the witnessing of a myth where they would not be so gullible with any other subject matter. It boggles my mind.

it is easier to believe in magical forces than to harness the power of the mind. our basic beliefs remain intact despite education and physical maturity. many of these are what were taught to us when our minds could not fathom abstractions. you are absolutely right about satan. he simply does not exist.
