I mean to just review other things you've written over the years ... journals, posts, whatever... I bet there are many ideas that you have yet to pursue just waiting for you to rediscover them ... something you hit upon briefly while writing something else ...

here is a suggestion ...

go back in time .. flip through some of your journal entries and see what develops ...

Vib,

I recommend putting on a song that fits the mood of your writing style for that particular moment....then put yourself into the song...and imagine what the singer must have been feeling, then when your brusting with emotion...poor your heart onto the paper....but don't be suprised if your shocked by what you read...lol...it will be good.

Or if that doesn't work, buy some fresh flowers, and open a window.

you are generally interested in your songs, materials surrounding them. Just look at the last one or two that you wrote, and expand off of those. As advocated in my book, The Cure, never set in front of a set of keys without hitting them; even if you are typing nonsense at first; just gradually direct the flow of words along a path.
