People like you are what's wrong with the electorate ...
If you knew anything about President Bush and his philosophy, you'd know exactly why he appointed Bolton to the U.N. Unfortunately, most voters only see the P.R. spin of the Republican pollsters and image consultants. That's why so many voters say they support Bush, but can't understand why he chooses the appointments he does.

I find Bush's appointments and nominees pathetic.
Bolton's nomination and his apparent disregard for the institution of the United Nations (as well as his attitude toward subordinates who disagree with him) is an affront to international politics (now, if that is what Bush and Co. were intending, then they were successful, but I don't believe that is what was intended -- too much thought would have had to have went into it)  As intelligent and well-schooled as some of Bush's advisors seem to be, they read more like morons of the first order.  And Bush is simply an ill-prepared, ill-informed petty dictator with delusions of world-dominating grandeur.  His entire tenure has been contemptious.

Metta, your judgment may be a little too harsh, but I stand by my post.   We must pray for Him even more that we do, He is the only President we have.

see, this is why I can't support President Bush... his choices like Bolton... and others... I keep looking for his Godly fruits, but can't find one thing that this President has done that Jesus told us we should do... I'm still watching, hoping...
