Go to BUILDING A NEW RELIGION FROM THE GROUND UP
- Add a comment
- Go to I AVOIDED SIN THEOTHER DAY
Reminds me of a phrase I saw on a personals add...something about "post-evangelical" or something like that under religious preference.

please don't link me with many of the Christians here on Blogit.
I have gone through Christianity -- right through.
like the old neighbor next door -- he said he went through the local college -- went in the front door and out the back door.
Christian images are just that -- images.
As far as guilt is concerned -- I have none. I am emphasizing to people that they should become more aware of their behavior and attempt to correct it.
We get away from the Law and sin and guilt as Christians define it. We get into something more difficult -- respecting ourselves and others.

And other people sin in small ways to you, in ways that you would too let pass even if they were pointed out to you - perhaps you could think of it as the price you are paying for those sins you commit against them. Maybe its better to think like that than live in constant guilt. Then again, even better to be perfect or as close as you can personally get.
Mm... does being christian make you regularly uncomfortable with guilt? I'm just wondering, I want to understand you guys see *apologetic smile*
