i've had my share
and some (Mormons) have interesting ways of getting an audience
a couple hosted a birthday party for me and two 20 yr old Elders happened to be there and several of us were "entertained" by a slide show about Smith & Gabriel, etc.

i was discussing this very thing
the other day with appleworks. i was explaining that when we feel guilty about something, we look to project that guilt onto others, where it appears it has left us. in other words, a person who sees himself as a 'sinner' will invariably try to convert others, who he sees as damned. good post. i've rebuffed two or three of these people myself. they are annoying. it's like talking to a tape recorder.
