Your 'Empty Road' poem is touching to my heart. I wish I could say something to ease the loss, but I know you will always remember. I don't pretend to know exactly how you feel, but I do understand the hurt when one that you love is no longer next to you. I've had my share of grief. I give you a sincere welcome to Blogit. I am a mother of five grown children. Of course, I adore all of them! My baby daughter, which is not a baby anymore, is now raising her two little girls (one a little over a month old), on her own because her husband was recently sent to Iraq. It is a big adjustment for her. She just turned 20 years old. Take comfort in holding that precious little son of yours. OK? jacenta

Nice job. I'm not a big poetry fan, but I actually "got" this one! It must be very hard to move on when you lose someone that is so young...
