I understand the feeling. When I was a single mom of one, my mom would steal my daughter at Christmas for a couple of days. I say steal because I was not "allowed" to have her back. My mom usually is 800 miles away so I didn't mind her spending time with my daughter, but I felt very lost when I went home alone.
