No excuse: you'd already seen what Bush what could do. It was unforgiveable to put him back.

Of course the Americans were idiots to let Bush back in.

Knowing he'd beaten Gore by an infitesimally small margin just four years earlier - some still believe he didn't actually win - they should have worked much harder.

As we know they didn't. And now they and the rest of the world are set to reap the whirlwind.

Here's my advice.

First stop being in denial - isn't that the American phrase? - and admit you were extremely careless to allow Bush back in. Then start planning for the next election and, meanwhile, do all you can to point up the folly of Dubya's deadly ways.

You ask whether we would have his supporters here? Not on your life. You made your bed and now mustlie on it.

Presumably you learnt this lesson when you left these shores?

Fear not, we're available with help and advice at any time.

not every American...

is pro Bush...the hip hop movement is strongly anti Bush.

I have been talking via internet with many young Americans who are totally anti Bush. No need to call the whole population of the USA "idiots".

Darrke.. as part of that 51%, I am glad we have him over Kerry anyday! Most people do like to complain, but alas your right, where is there solution?

Okay, but the election is well past, and nothing we can do to change it.  Sadly, I think the 51% that elected him are still happy with him.  I don't suppose you have any useful suggestions on what the other 49% could to do get rid of him now?  Or at least limit his power?  Seems to me that we left England over someone not entirely unlike George W.  Could we send his supporters back to you?

Limey,

The problem: John Kerry was a bigger buffoon!
