I thought of that, jimmy68,

I-R-William:
Gary Ridgway ultimately confessed to 48 murders in a plea deal he made with King County authorities.  He showed them where most of the bodies were, a deal done to bring closure to so many families of missing women in the Seattle area.  He got out of the death penalty but was sentenced to 48 consecutive life sentences.  He is suspected of killing more women, however.  Sheriff Reichart, the lead detective on the case for many years, wrote a book called Chasing The Devil.   << (I wrote a review on it.)  It's a great read.

Unfortunately he is probably being well protected by the Aryan Brotherhood.
The Wood sticks together, and he's crazy enough that they'll want him on their side for his expertise.

I am constantly astounded at the way people can get away with the things...
they do. Do you remember the Green River murders. They finally apprehended the man responsible. He confessed to 22 murders I believe. He  received life imprisonment also.
