Star4all,

I don't think it was that simple.  But thanks for stopping by.

It doesn't matter what the people think.  It was up to the husband to follow through with his wifes wishes.  End of story.

The ultimate exit poll.    Too bad, JanesO, that peoples opinions did not help.

Glennb!

You're right!  It's in God's hands now! Thank God! But next time the pollsters should conduct a scientific poll!  Not some piece of crap that was designed and manipulated to get a certain response!!!!!

IN case you couldn't tell, I like Zogby!

JanesOpinion,
When you ignore the facts, anything can be made popular! Slavery, Colonialism, Nazism, Jim Crow, ... were all popular movements at some point in time! The facts in Terri Schiavo's case were 15 years in developing! Americans got a short look to try to decide what was correct! The courts ruled that the parents were not legal guardian! So that part about them wanting to take care of Terri is out of the debate! If you think her husband Michael was a bad person that is you right! But that is his fight now with His God! Leave it alone!

Justsouno,
I completely agree with you.  And it's amazing, like you said, how it only took one determined person in each circumstance.  Thanks for stopping by!  Next time we'll have tea.

JanesOpinion, This is very good stuff. Even if we are better people
than you previously thought, what can we do with that knowledge? People tried to say those things, before the fact. There is such a difference in some being on life support and on a feeding tube. That was murder pure and simple. An angry, possibly very guilty man, was allowed to turn over the wishes of the majority. Something is wrong with that. It took only one woman to take prayer out of school, and only one man to control the courts into murdering his wife in my opinion.
