Writing about Terri...
...has, so far, probably made me "rich" enough to eat one meal (more, if a 99 cent item eaten alone with a glass of water counts as a meal) at McDonald's.
I can buy a Steak'n'Shake Steakburger--but not a steak dinner at Ponderosa.
So I'm not sitting on a goldmine blogging about Terri (or the Pope or anyone else)--and I doubt if you or anyone else is, either.
But, even if we were, so what!?!
A lot of us have dreams of earning a living writing, and, if people are going to make money at this sort of thing, I'd certainly rather see people making money writing in defense of people like Terri rather than making money by STARVING people like Terri!
