You're likely correct, but I have to wonder if anyone even proofreads or edits this drivel. Our local paper, the mighty Toledo Blade, pulled a classic last year. In the middle of celebrating a Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting, they committed a grammatical blunder in a big, bold-faced headline that would have been good for a great big politcally incorrect red D- in a high school English class.
